Bienvenido a la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Tiedra Vieja.
Este santuario se levanta sobre un lugar cargado de historia.
Bajo tus pies se extiende el antiguo yacimiento arqueológico de Amallóbriga, ciudad de origen vacceo que más tarde sería romanizada.
Desde hace siglos, este lugar custodia la imagen de Nuestra Señora de Tiedra Vieja, patrona de profunda devoción para los habitantes de Tiedra y de toda la comarca.
El santuario fue reedificado a finales del siglo XVI y posteriormente enriquecido con elementos barrocos durante el siglo XVIII.
El conjunto está formado por la ermita, el camarín de la Virgen y la antigua hospedería organizada alrededor de un patio porticado de dos alturas.
El acceso se realiza a través de este patio, cruzando una portada de medio punto y un amplio zaguán que todavía conserva la atmósfera de otro tiempo.
Entre los elementos más singulares del templo destaca un antiguo reloj de sol del siglo XV, procedente del Monasterio de La Santa Espina y considerado, posiblemente, el más antiguo conservado en toda la provincia de Valladolid.
También el órgano del santuario procede de aquel monasterio.
Pero quizá uno de los rincones más emocionantes de este lugar sea su colección de exvotos.
Durante generaciones, numerosos tiedranos —muchos de ellos emigrados a América— enviaron fotografías y ofrendas a la Virgen para pedir protección, salud o agradecer los favores recibidos.
Las pequeñas figuras de cera que aquí se conservan recuerdan todavía aquellas peticiones relacionadas con enfermedades, accidentes y momentos difíciles.
Este santuario no solo guarda siglos de historia…
también conserva la memoria, la fe y las emociones de quienes, generación tras generación, mantuvieron vivo su vínculo con Tiedra.

Welcome to the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Tiedra Vieja.
This sanctuary stands on a site steeped in history.
Beneath your feet lies the ancient archaeological site of Amallóbriga, a settlement of Vaccean origin that was later Romanised.
For centuries, this place has housed the image of Our Lady of Tiedra Vieja, a patron saint deeply revered by the people of Tiedra and the surrounding region.
The sanctuary was rebuilt at the end of the 16th century and was later enriched with Baroque elements during the 18th century.
The complex consists of the shrine, the Virgin’s dressing chamber and the former guesthouse, arranged around a two-storey arcaded courtyard.
Access is through this courtyard, passing beneath a semicircular archway and through a spacious entrance hall that still preserves the atmosphere of another era.
Among the most remarkable features of the sanctuary is a 15th-century sundial from the Monastery of La Santa Espina, considered possibly the oldest surviving sundial in the entire Province of Valladolid.
The sanctuary’s organ also comes from that monastery.
Perhaps one of the most moving corners of this place is its collection of ex-votos.
For generations, many people from Tiedra — many of them emigrants to the Americas — sent photographs and offerings to the Virgin to ask for protection and good health, or to give thanks for favours received.
The small wax figures preserved here still recall those petitions related to illness, accidents and difficult moments.
This sanctuary not only preserves centuries of history...
It also safeguards the memories, faith and emotions of those who, generation after generation, kept their bond with Tiedra alive.
